Is the preview really the finished program?
Yes. The pages on your screen and the pages in the PDF come from the same rendering code — the preview is not a mock-up, it is the artwork itself. What you approve is what prints.
Where do their story and photos go?
Nowhere. The program is built entirely in your browser: the obituary, names, and photos are never uploaded, stored, or seen by us. You can save a program file to your own device to continue later or share with family.
Does any AI write the tribute?
No. This tool typesets — it never writes. Every word in the program is yours; software only sets it onto the page with care. We believe a tribute should not be machine-written, and this one cannot be.
We're not confident with printers. Will the folding work?
The print file's pages are already arranged in booklet order ("imposed"), with fold guides and a plain-language instruction page at the end — including what to say at a print shop counter. Most families print at home, at the church office, or at any copy shop in one pass.
How fast can we realistically have programs in hand?
The building takes minutes once the words are written. Printing 50–100 copies takes under an hour at home, or same-day at nearly any print or office-supply shop.
